Rodrick's Mark on his Revolutionary War Application

Thanks to Carolyn Craig we know that the next signature is Jehu Milton Craig  His signature was on a request for information on pension of Roderick Craig during the American Revolution.  He did some genealogy on the Craig family.  He started a Craig Reunion in the 1920's that survived into the 1960's in Henry County.

Here is a picture of Rodrick's gravestone in Henry County, Indiana courtesy of Carolyn Craig.

This is a photo of  a Craig Reunion in the 1922.  The reunion was held at the Daniel Isaac Craig home.  My great Grandmother Mary Jane Craig Robertson is there, but not her husband James Robertson who died in 1915.

This is another of our newest pictures from Carolyn Craig.

"These old photos were found in the old farm house where Uncle Paul Kruger and Florence Craig lived in near Knightstown, Henry County, Indiana.  They had not cleaned out the house since their sister Helen passed away in 1999.  You would not believe the vastness of old photos.  Unfortunately many were not labeled and could not be identified.  Some were labeled and others you could recognize who they were.
This is a grouping of some of Daniel Craig's boys and their wives, but the others in the photo are a mystery:

Back Row left to right: Mary Jane Craig, Daniel Craig ?, Elizabeth Craig ?, John N. Ratliff ?, UNKNOWN BOY, Martin Craig, Jehu Milton Craig, David Craig, Allen Craig, Jacob Craig, UNKNOWN BOY.

Craig/Ratliff ?, UNKNOWN GIRL, UNKNOWN GIRL, Lizzie Miller/Craig, Elizabeth Mattix/Craig, UNKNOWN WOMAN (Mrs. Hiram Craig?) , Elizabeth VanDyne/Craig, Etta Peacock/Craig, UNKNOWN GIRL, UNKNOWN GIRL (Millie Ellen Craig/Chew?)

If anyone has any ideas who the Unknown people are please let me or Carolyn know.  Thanks

Craig Brothers, sister Martha, and Aunt Mary Millie Chew

Aunt Mary Millie Chew became the story teller and genealogy.  She had a photographic memory.  She could tell you the date of your birth, full name, and the names of parents, and other siblings.  She also kept a book of the Chews and Craigs.  Again this wonderful picture is thanks to Carolyn Craig.

Carolyn also sent the following pictures

This is Daniel Isaac Craig and his wife Elizabeth Mogle

Jehu Milton and Eliza Mattix with sons Alonza and Daniel LeRoy.

Recently I have connected with Fleta Forquer.  She has provided me with some wonderful pictures of the McCall family who are descendants of William Craig through his son Levi Craig and granddaughter Synthia

Here is a picture of William and Laura Craig Bright McCall.  She was the daughter of Synthia Craig Bright.

Here is a picture of the McCall Family taken between 1912 and 1914.  The names are on the photo.

This picture was taken at William and Laura McCall 50th Wedding Anniversary,  May 5, 1937.
