Minne Yedes de Jong's Birth Announcement - translation below

The act: (some translation)

"In the year 1812, march 7th, pm 11 o'clock the officer of the civil service of the community Blija, canton Hallum, department Friesland, compared Yde Jans de Jong old 24, gardenier (profession, is a little farmer, produces agricultural products on a small scale) in the village Hoogebeintum, who declared the birth of a child, male, on march 6th, pm 8 o'clock, from him and Wytske Minnes de Jong. which he declared to give the name of MINNE".

Witnesses are Tetje Jans de Jong (28) and Antje Jochums Roeda (23), both witnesses declare they cannot scribe (niet te kunnen schrijven) (analphabetic).

The signature is from Yde Jans de Jong (he wrote Yde Jans Jong, note that he possessed this family name only one year), and from the civil officer."
